훌륭한 뮤지션들이 인정한 Laney Laney는 1970년대에 영국에서 탄생한, 비교적 신생 브랜드에 속하는 앰프회사입니다. 대표적인 영국 브랜드인 Marshall과 비슷한 계열의, 드라이브에 촛점을 맞춘 사운드를 내고 그렇기 때문에 자주 Marshall과 비교되기도 합니다.
하지만 Vox AC30의 영향을 받은 것으로 보이는 Class A 회로의 모델도 있으며 전체적인 가격대가 좀 더 낮다는 점에서 마샬과 차별을 둔 브랜드이기도 하죠. Laney를 사용하는 대표적인 기타리스트로는 Paul Gilbert, Tony Iommi(Black Sabbath), 그리고 마릴린 맨슨의 John 5 등이 있습니다.
This highly versatile twin combo is the king of the Laney LX range. Featuring a huge 120 watt output section that can drive into 4 ohms it really does deliver the goods. The LX120T also features separate EQ for each channel, line out socket, FX loop, speaker output, CD input and 15 channel footswitchable DSP. The DSP programs that this amplifier comes with are : 2x Reverbs, 4x Delays, 2x Chorus', Flanger, Rotary Speaker Simulator, Octave, Chorus+Reverb, Chorus+Delay, Flange+Delay, Octave+Delay.
